I have been contemplating shaving the beard for a contest at work called "Mustache May". As you can see I did it. Catie hates it and has threatened to divorce me if I keep it. I will get rid of it in June (when the contest has ended).After we started the contest we stumbled upon this site. www.mustachemay.com

I am letting it grow until the contest is over, so it gets however long it gets. I think you are right about thickness. I wish I would have left it a little thicker. I am happy with it though.
